This is an open competition to all students who were enrolled during the 2011/2012 school year.

No internship or professional work will be accepted.

The deadline for submissions is Sept 15th, 2012.

Awards will be presented on Sept 22nd at Industry Giants 2012.


There are 5 categories you can enter:

  • Modeling and Texturing (wireframe, UV and texture maps required)
  • Lighting and Rendering
  • Animated Shorts (3d)
  • Motion Graphics (2d, After Effects and Flash)
  • Concept Art


A $20 entry fee is required for each entry in each catagory you enter.

  • You may enter as many times as you like, and in as many categories that apply.
  • A fee is required for each additional entry.
  • Use the following link to pay entry fee.  An email will be sent to the coordinator.
  • Entries will not be eligible for awards or prizes if entry fee is not received by Sept 15th.

If your submission is greater than 5 megs, and you would like an FTP - write me and I will send you information.

Submissions must be in one of the following formats:
Image files: .TIF, .JPG
Size: no less than 720x480 and no greater than 3000x3000

Quicktime: .mov (Sorrenson 3 or h.264)
Windows: .avi (DIVX)
No other compression please!
Size: no less than 320x240 and no greater than 720x486

* All video will be converted and presented on YouTube due to server resrictions.
