It’s everybody’s favorite time of year again! (Okay, at least it’s ours!) We’re excited to announce the 3rd Annual IGDA Dallas & A Bunch of Short Guys Winter Party!

Enjoy a great evening of food, drinks, games, and more with some of the most creative people in the metroplex. We’ll have more details very soon, but wanted to give you the opportunity to save the date to one of the biggest parties of the year! Here are a few of the things to look forward to at this year’s party:

– A night to remember with our co-hosts, Amp Creative: The folks at Amp Creative are gracious enough to co-host our party in their +20,000 sqft studio located in East Dallas. Those who remember the era of “Motus Parties” will feel right at home in a modern, creative space filled with some of the most awesome people the industry has to offer.
– Networking Cards – Sponsored by Mintr – Thanks to our friends at Mintr, there are even more ways to win awesome prizes at this year’s event! Download the Mintr app and create a digital business/trading card of yourself or your company! Trade these cards among the people you meet for a chance to win fantastic prizes!

– Video & Board Games: What kind of IGDA & ABOSG party would it be without some of the hottest in multiplayer video and board games? Our new venue provides more space than we’ve ever had before to make new friends (or perhaps, settle some rivalries) with our expansive video and board game library; Curated by local developers.
– Indie Alley: One of our favorite parts of this party, we give independent game developers a chance to do live demos featuring the latest games. Get a chance to play the next hot game while it’s being developed!
– Virtual Reality: The only thing we love more than Virtual Reality is the ability to bring it to the masses! Immerse yourself with the latest virtual reality games and demos the industry has to offer.
– Photo Booth: Immortalize the night by taking a few photos in the photo booth! (Props and silly poses encouraged)
– Group Draw: Like to doodle? Contribute your artistic genius (or lack thereof) to our group drawing!
– Our Annual Epic Raffle!: It wouldn’t be a winter party without our epic raffle, featuring thousands of dollars of board games, video games, technology, exclusive merchandise, and more!
